The 2024 Heart of Fashion was a night of red carpet glam, mouthwatering bites, and dazzling style, all set in the trendy, industrial vibe of Evergreen Brick Works. Toronto’s fashion, food, and culture scene came together for an unforgettable evening, all in support of North York General and the thousands of patients and families who rely on its care.

The Heart of The Cause
Welcoming over 450 guests, Canada’s top philanthropists were brought together through their shared passion for supporting North York General. Guests were encouraged to walk the red carpet, dance and mingle and participate in a one-of-a-kind auction.
Haute Cuisine & High Fashion
Inspired by the colours, textures, and movement of fabrics, TOBEN chefs crafted a bespoke menu featuring hors d’oeuvres and flights, including Peking Duck Steam Buns, Fattoush Salad, Short Rib Croquettes, and Casarecce ‘Caviar Al Limone’. As guests danced the night away, the TOBEN Food Truck made an appearance, serving up late-night treats.
The FashionÂ
The fashion show featured a range of Canadian designers showcasing both established and emerging talent, including Lindsay King, House of Dwir, Jacqueline Bradica, and Evan Biddell. Notable highlights included the FASHN DISRPTR Awards winners, such as Vveyago and Suburban Deviant.
Glamour in GenerosityÂ
This year, $1.3 million was raised to support the revitalization of the Birthing Centre at North York General. With over 300,000 births since its opening 50 years ago, the centre is now ready for a much-needed modernization and reimagining.
