Event Sales Manager

The Event Sales Manager will be responsible for catering sales, event management, and business development. Ideal candidates would have a positive attitude and ample customer and food service experience. Specific job training will be provided.

Job Duties

  • Respond to client leads in an efficient and professional manner

  • Gather relevant and detailed information regarding each individual event

  • Confidently discuss food service needs and recommend service styles and menu options

  • Prepare customized proposals inclusive of menu, staffing, and rental estimates

  • Arrange and conduct venue site visits as required with clients

  • Solidify catering contracts and sign backs

  • Coordinate & Schedule staffing, rentals and other event needs

  • Execute events onsite

  • Payment scheduling and invoice preparation

  • Conduct tastings for potential and confirmed clients

  • Communicate with culinary team and prepare quantified menus

  • Business development and outreach to build new client base

  • Training & development of Jr. Staff

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years Relevant Work Experience in Hospitality *Salary will reflect experience

  • Superior time management and organizational skills a must

  • Previous sales experience an asset

  • Catering experience an asset

  • Adept at Multitasking

  • Must hold a valid G2 or G Ontario License

  • Positive, Respectful Team player

Compensation

  • Salary plus commissions.

  • Above industry standards, based on experience & may include a benefits package.
